Start from a template
Templates are finished pages to start from. Use one as your whole page, add its blocks to yours, or save your own.
The templates
| Category | Templates |
|---|---|
| Local business | Warung menu, Catering packages, Small business bio, Lebaran promo |
| Events and invitations | Event RSVP, Wedding invitation |
| Portfolio and services | Starter profile, Rate card, Service page, Portfolio / CV, Press kit, Link in bio |
| Ecommerce | Product drop |
| SaaS | Webinar waitlist, SaaS page |
Use a template as your page
- Open Templates in the Editor’s side menu, or select Start from a template on Home.
- Search, or filter by goal, then select Preview to look closer.
- Select Use this. If your page has content, Carya asks before replacing it.
Add a template’s blocks
In the Editor, open Add and switch to Templates. Picking one adds its blocks to the end of your page and keeps your theme.
Sample photos
A template can start with a sample photo: a picture Carya drew in code, so the page looks finished before you add your own. On Warung menu it’s the chicken rice box, and most templates for pages built from Pieces start with one or two.
The Editor marks it: the product’s Photo field says “Sample photo: replace with yours”. A sample photo that is still on your page publishes like any other photo, with no label on it.
- Select the Products block and open the product that shows the sample photo.
- Under Photo, choose your own file. It replaces the sample.
Before you have an account you can’t upload a photo. The publish sheet tells you, and you can replace the sample once you’re in.
On a page built from Pieces, select the picture and choose your own, or replace a product’s photo in Products. On a page that sells, Publish names the Pieces that still show one.
Carya asks before it publishes a page that takes orders while a sample photo is still on it. A page takes orders when it has a product with a price and a button, or a QR / Pay block. The prompt says “This page still sells with a sample photo”: choose Replace it first to go back, or Publish anyway. It appears when you select Publish in the Editor or on Home. A page that takes no orders publishes without asking.
Save your own
Select a block, or select nothing to save the whole page. Under Save template, give it a name and save. It appears under Saved templates in the same tab, ready to add to your page again. A saved template holds up to 20 blocks.
