Import a page

Bring your page over from Linktree, Carrd, Squarespace or another site. Carya turns what it can into blocks you then edit, as a draft.

Import

  1. On Home, select Import from another site. You can also import when you make a page, or from a page’s menu on Pages.
  2. Paste the page’s address. If its site won’t let Carya read it, select Paste the page’s HTML instead and paste its source.
  3. Tick This is my page, or I have the right to bring it over. Carya reads nothing until you do.
  4. Select See what comes over. Carya reads the page once and lists what it found and what stays behind.
  5. Select Import. Carya copies the pictures, and the page opens in the Editor as a draft.

An imported page is built from blocks: see Blocks. Import into a new page, or into one built from blocks. A page built from Pieces doesn’t take an import: make a new page from it instead.

Carya knows Linktree, Beacons, bio.link, Lynk.id, Taplink, Stan, Carrd, Squarespace, Wix, Framer, Webflow, Notion and Google Sites, and reads any other public page as best it can.

What comes across

  • Your name, photo and description, as the page’s header.
  • Your links, with their platforms’ icons, and your social profiles as a row of icons.
  • Pictures, copied into Carya, as galleries.
  • Text, with its headings.
  • Videos, music and booking pages (YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, SoundCloud, Calendly, Cal.com and more), as players that load when a visitor taps them.
  • Products with their prices, where the page shows them. They link to where they’re sold until you connect payments.
  • Your email address and WhatsApp number, and a contact form.

What doesn’t

  • Scripts, styles and layout. Carya never stores the page’s HTML.
  • Links that aren’t web addresses, and links behind an age or sensitive-content check.
  • Content that only appears after the page’s JavaScript runs. Notion pages are like this: only their title and description come across.
  • Menus and links back into your old site.

Limits

  • Only material you may use: your own page, or one you have the right to bring over.
  • Public http and https addresses only, and pages up to about 750 KB of HTML.
  • Up to 40 links, 12 pictures, 6 players and 24 products from one page.
  • Up to 10 imports a minute, and 30 an hour for each account.
