In plain words
You own your work. You may not use Carya to harm people, exploit children, deceive buyers or publish material you have no right to share. Unsafe material may be removed, not returned to your drafts. Ordinary decisions can be reviewed; child-safety evidence is handled differently.
1Scope and responsibility
This policy applies to Pages, posts, files, product listings, messages, newsletters, links, forms and conduct through Carya, including authorised Members and Agents. The Terms govern acceptance, changes, suspension and mandatory rights. Privacy processing follows the Privacy Policy. A new policy version does not retrospectively remove lawful rights.
Creators must hold the rights needed for what they publish and sell, accurately describe offers and comply with applicable law. Carya's review or failure to detect a breach is not approval of the content or a licence to publish it. Conversely, this policy does not transfer Carya's own statutory responsibilities to a Creator.
2Prohibited content and conduct
Child exploitation. Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors, grooming, sexualised depictions of children, solicitations involving minors, or content facilitating those harms is prohibited. Links, requests, synthetic depictions and attempts to trade such material are included where unlawful or exploitative. Context labels do not justify sharing illegal material.
Sexual content, nudity and sexual/privacy abuse. Pornography, sexually explicit material and sexual services are prohibited, including when presented as art. Non-sexual nudity in an artistic, educational or documentary context, such as figure drawing, fine-art photography, sculpture or health education, is allowed only on a Page marked Mature (Terms section 9.4). Carya withholds Mature Pages in countries whose law restricts such content, including Indonesia, and may remove nudity it judges sexual. Nothing sexual involving a minor is ever allowed (section 2.1). Non-consensual intimate imagery, including synthetic or AI-altered imagery of a real person, threats to disclose it, sexual extortion, voyeuristic content and unlawful disclosure of private information are also prohibited. A Payment Provider's rules may further restrict selling on a Mature Page.
Violence, threats and harassment. Credible threats, targeted abuse, stalking, violent extremism, terrorist recruitment or operational assistance and incitement to violence or hatred against people or protected groups are prohibited. Good-faith documentation, criticism or reporting must remain lawful and not facilitate the prohibited harm.
Fraud and deception. Scams, fake giveaways, impersonation (including using a real person's face, voice or likeness, real or synthetic, without their consent to mislead), phishing, misleading fundraising, pyramid schemes, money games and other schemes where earnings come mainly from recruiting, investment or trading offers promising guaranteed or unrealistic returns, deceptive offers and fabricated endorsements are prohibited. Sellers must accurately identify themselves and disclose material transaction terms. Tips are payments to the Creator: do not present them as charitable donations or public fundraising, and do not claim they are tax-deductible.
Politics. Pages may discuss politics, but may not raise money for a political party, candidate or election campaign, whether through tips, sales or donations. Election interference is prohibited: misleading people about when, where or how to vote or whether they may, and intimidating voters.
Unlawful goods or services. Illegal drugs, prohibited weapons, counterfeit goods, unlawful gambling and activities requiring a licence or permit the Creator lacks are prohibited. Restrictions also apply to legally restricted sales and regulated collections. Availability of checkout does not prove regulatory approval.
Infringement. Do not resell or distribute another person's work without permission or a lawful exception; impersonate a rights owner; or use trademarks misleadingly. A supported file format is not permission to distribute copyrighted collections. Good-faith lawful quotation or fair-use arguments may be considered in review, without guaranteeing a particular legal outcome.
Security abuse. Malware, credential theft, harmful links, evasion of access controls, unauthorised access, disruptive automation and misuse as unrelated bulk file distribution are prohibited. Lawful research must not access others' data or disrupt the Service without appropriate authorisation.
Spam and data abuse. Unconsented mailing lists, unlawful data collection, selling improperly obtained personal information and knowingly false or retaliatory reports are prohibited. Honour unsubscribe and data rights. Applicable sanctions and export restrictions must be followed without false identity/location information.
3Reporting
Report through the form at carya.page/report or write to safety@carya.page. Include the Page/file location, relevant reason and enough explanation for review. Contact details are optional for ordinary reports but needed if you want a response or use a formal rights procedure.
For child-safety concerns, give the location and concise information; do not download, forward or attach suspected abuse material. For immediate danger contact the competent local emergency authority. Carya's inbox is not an emergency dispatch service.
Carya may request necessary supporting information. It never passes a reporter's name or email address to the reported Creator unless the reporter agrees, except where a lawful order or a formal rights procedure the reporter uses requires it. Do not publicly expose a reporter in retaliation.
4Assessment and measures
Carya may review reports and use automated tools, human review or both. It does not promise that every Page, file or delivery route is monitored or that unlawful content is always detected. Measures may include temporary hiding, pausing checkout and forms while a Page stays visible, disabling files, limiting publishing/selling/sending, withholding a Page in a particular country, suspending access or terminating a serious/repeat offender.
Action may precede a final determination where credible risk justifies it. Carya will consider context and proportionate restrictions where lawful, and comply with binding authority orders and applicable Indonesian electronic-system requirements. Statutory removal deadlines are not replaced by ordinary appeal targets.
Ordinary restrictions may leave lawful content in a draft, but this is not guaranteed. Illegal or harmful material may be deleted or retained only as restricted evidence, without user access. No promise of "nothing is deleted" applies. Deleting a Page, changing an address or creating another Account does not lift a restriction.
Reasons and an appeal route are provided where lawful, safe and practical. Notice may be withheld or limited to protect a person, evidence, investigation or legally confidential request. Restoration, if allowed, does not necessarily automatically republish content.
Country restrictions. Where a competent authority lawfully requires content to be restricted in its country, and the content is lawful elsewhere, Carya may withhold it from Visitors in that country only rather than removing it everywhere. The Creator is told which country and why where the law allows. Visitors in that country see that the Page is not available where they are.
5Child-safety exception
Suspected child sexual exploitation may require immediate removal from both public and ordinary user access, Account suspension and secure preservation of necessary material and associated Account/activity information. Carya may lawfully report to competent authorities and, where appropriate and available, NCMEC. This is not a claim of NCMEC approval or an assertion that every Indonesian operator has an identical US reporting duty.
Carya may withhold notice and ordinary appeals where notification risks a child, compromises evidence or conflicts with law. There is no right to regain access to suspected illegal material. A safe legal route to identify an actual mistake may remain available without releasing the evidence.
Necessary evidence may be preserved with restricted access for approximately one year from the applicable preservation trigger, or for a different period required by law or a continuing hold. Routine deletion does not automatically destroy it. Processing and disclosures must have a lawful basis and any additional required safeguards.
Child-safety evidence is handled through a restricted preservation, reporting and review procedure with lawful authority routes and defined retention triggers. An application to a reporting service is not account approval, and use of automated tooling is not proof of complete detection.
6Copyright and other intellectual-property complaints
Identify the work/right, allegedly infringing location, your authority, contact information and a good-faith statement that the report is accurate. Do not knowingly misuse copyright complaints to remove lawful criticism or competition.
The affected Creator may submit a counter-response identifying the material and why removal was mistaken or the use authorised, with supporting evidence and reliable contact. Carya may share necessary complaint/counter-response details with the parties and restore content only where lawful after review. Confidential data will not be disclosed beyond necessity or legal requirements.
Formal DMCA notice/counter-notice statements, jurisdiction consent, designated-agent details and restoration periods apply only where Carya adopts and qualifies for that process. This policy does not claim DMCA safe-harbour registration or a registered designated agent. Ordinary counter-responses remain available as described above, subject to law.
Carya may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, considering credible reports and outcomes, rather than treating every unverified accusation as a proven infringement.
7Ordinary appeals and timing
Use the review option shown alongside a restriction, or write to safety@carya.page with the content location, decision reference if available, grounds for review and evidence. A human review may be requested for a qualifying automated restriction. Do not resubmit prohibited material or evade controls during review.
Carya acknowledges ordinary appeals within seven business days and decides them within fourteen business days after sufficient information is received. A person decides every appeal, which automated checks may help prepare; a qualifying automated decision may be challenged through human review as required by law. Binding legal deadlines and the lawful child-safety exceptions take priority.
Restoration does not waive future action on new evidence. Review does not remove statutory complaint, court or regulatory rights. Child-safety safeguards in section 5 override ordinary draft retention and notice/appeal routines where lawful.
8Changes and contact
Non-material changes may take effect at any time on publication. Material changes follow the Terms' direct advance-notice and prospective-change process, with at least thirty days' notice, subject to binding legal requirements. Continued use alone is not consent where law requires affirmative agreement. Carya dates and retains versions.
